A Mother's Blessing Planning

A Mother's Blessing is every woman's right to be supported and nurtured in her journey through pregnancy and leading up to labor and birth.  It is a gathering of women, coming together to celebrate in the preparation, nourishment, and self care of the mom to be.

It is very intimate and personal, usually between 5-20 guests and no gifts are expected.  Generally falling closer to the expected birth date, it may be in place of a traditional baby shower, and all the attention is on the mother to be.  Suggested activities might include positive and inspiring birth stories and affirmations, readings, rock painting, birth art, foot soaks, jewelry making, dancing, candle lighting, setting up a postpartum meal train, and indulging in healthy snacks.
